5 Ways To Refresh Your Living Room

5 Ways To Refresh Your Living Room

Are you tired of your living room? Feel like it needs a refresh? These five tips will give you big impact with little effort and they won’t break the bank either! Grab your coffee and get inspired ☕️👇🏻

1 - Re think your layout!
Sometimes something as simple as moving your furniture around can completely change the feel of your space! I remember being a kid and always changing the furniture around in my bedroom, I loved it, it was so easy to do and it always felt like I had a new bedroom at the end of the day!

2 - Hang some new artwork or prints!
This is something that won’t break the bank but will make a big impact with little effort. If you want to add some fun into the room perhaps opt for bold and bright graphic prints, and if you are trying to channel calm vibes perhaps go for botanical or beachy prints!

3 - Add some panelling!
Panelling has become a huge trend, I mean if you was to try right now, you probably couldn’t go on Insta or Pinterest without seeing at least one panelled wall, and it’s a trend I think is here to stay for a while!
There are so many different designs and layouts however can create a big impact with a simple design on only one wall! I love the panelling to be painted in a different colour to the rest of the room.
If this seems a step to far, why not try colour blocking instead using some frog tape to create a similar effect?!

4 - Introduce some texture through soft furnishings!
Cushions, throws, curtains and rugs are a great way to add texture and interest. By introducing textures into your space it stimulates both our touch and sight senses! Texture helps to add depth to a space and prevents it from feeling flat. Faux fur, macarme wall hangings, wood and metal are also great examples of textures you could incorporate!
