FAQs
How much does a furniture commission cost?
Each piece is quoted individually depending on its size, condition and the finish required.
As a guide, commissions typically begin from £600.
For an accurate quote, please submit an enquiry with details and photos of your piece.
Do you work with clients outside of your local area?
Yes, I work with clients across Worthing, West Sussex and throughout most of mainland UK.
Furniture can be carefully transported using a trusted courier service. Please get in touch to discuss your location and project.
How do I book a commission?
Once your project has been discussed and confirmed, a 50% deposit is required to secure your booking.
The remaining balance is due upon completion, prior to delivery.
How long does a commission take?
Timescales can vary depending on the size and complexity of the piece, as well as current availability.
You will be given an estimated timeframe when booking, and I will keep you updated throughout the process.
Do you offer delivery?
Complimentary delivery is available across most of mainland England.
Delivery is carried out as a one-person, ground floor service.
If access involves stairs or you would prefer placement within your home, a two-person delivery service can be arranged for an additional £25.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery is typically arranged within 7–10 working days once your piece is complete.
You will be contacted directly by the courier to arrange a suitable date and time slot.
Can you source furniture for me?
Yes, if you don’t already have a piece, I can source a suitable item for you.
I have access to a regularly changing selection of quality vintage furniture and can find something that works perfectly for your space.
Can you recreate a piece that has already sold?
While each piece is unique, I can often create something similar in style.
If you’ve seen a previous piece you love, please get in touch and I can design something inspired by it, tailored to your home.
I’m not sure what design or colour I want — can you help?
Absolutely.
I will guide you through colour, finish and design options to ensure the final piece complements your home and personal style. A digital mood board can also be created if needed.
What products and paints do you use?
I use a selection of high-quality, professional products chosen for both finish and durability.
The exact materials will depend on the look you’d like to achieve, and I will recommend the most suitable options for your piece.
How do I care for my furniture?
Your furniture will arrive with care instructions to help maintain its finish over time.
A small pot of matching paint is also provided for any future touch-ups if required.
Do you accept returns on custom pieces?
Due to the bespoke nature of commissioned furniture, custom pieces are non-refundable.
If you have any concerns during the process, these will always be discussed and resolved before completion.
How do I get started?
You can submit an enquiry via the contact form or email with details of your project.
I will then be in touch to discuss your requirements and next steps.
